Homer F. Kline, 98 of Warren passed away at 2:25 am on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Homer was a 1937 graduate of Monument City High School and later graduated from Manchester College with his bachelor's and master's degrees and also received his teaching degree from Ball State University. He was a school teacher for over 40 years, retiring in 1979. He served during WWII in the U.S. Airforce. He was a life member of Scottish Rite, 75 year Mason and Shriner for 50 years at the Huntington Amity Masonic Lodge. He and his wife, Jane recently celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary.

Homer was born on December 28, 1918 in Huntington County, the son of John N. and Leota P. (Bigelow) Kline.

He was united in marriage to Anna Jane Pratt on September 15, 1937 in Lincolnville, Indiana. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include seven nephews and one niece.

He was preceded in death by three brothers: Ivan Kline, Virgil E. Kline, Roy A. Kline; an infant sister: Elizabeth Kline, a nephew and a niece.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon at the Heritage Pointe of Warren Applegate Chapel, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren, Indiana.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 12:00 noon following visitation at the Heritage Pointe of Warren Applegate Chapel with Gerald O. Moreland officiating.

Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Andrews.
