Honey Beauregard, 89, of Johnstown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2017 surrounded by family. Honey was born on April 11, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio. She is survived by her two daughters, Leigh (Frank) Vecchio and Heather (Richard) Roberts, grandchildren Jeremy (Jessica) Butler, Devin (Lauren) Roberts, Tiffiny (Adam) Noble, Sharnea R., Mark (Jessica) Mooney, and Tara (Dan) White and great-grandchildren, Elijah, Logan, Jack, Wynter, Gabby, Isaac, Adalynn, Lane, Connor, Chloe, Johnathan, Makenzie, Jordan, Alexis, Laik, Benjamin, Percival, Bailey, and Ian. Honey also had a special place in her heart for Daniel, whom she loved as though he was a member of her own family. She was preceded in death by both parents, Frank and Genevieve Byron, brother Richard Byron, and beloved son, Mark Mooney. Honey spent her time on earth tending to her family and her beautiful gardens. She enjoyed reading, watching Jeopardy (while eating chocolate peanut butter ice cream), and baking her famous chocolate chip cookies. During football season, Honey could always be found donned in her Scarlet and Gray, cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes. A graveside memorial service for "Gramma Honey" took place at Green Hill Cemetery in Johnstown, Ohio on Saturday, September 30, 2017. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of Central Ohio in Honey's name. The family would like to thank the caregivers of Chimes Terrace in Johnstown, Ohio for all of the kindness shown towards Honey during her time there. She loved all of you dearly. To Pam, our compassionate and caring Hospice nurse, thank you for the time spent next to Honey's bedside lovingly comforting and tending to her in her last hours here on earth. You are all appreciated and loved.
