Hope D. Worster, 90 formerly of Huntington and Markle passed away Monday afternoon, August 18, 2014 at the Heritage Pointe in Warren. Hope was a homemaker. She was a 1943 graduate of West Union High school and a member of the Markle Church of Christ. Hope loved to play Bingo and cards and was an avid bowler. She loved to travel and enjoyed fishing. Hope was a wonderful grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Hope was born on November 18, 1923 in Huntington County, a daughter of Arthur E. and Effie Mae (Hite) Smith.

She was united in marriage to C. Garl Worster on July 28, 1945 in Markle. He preceded her in death on March 26, 1993.

Survivors include three sons: Joe (Nancy) Worster of Huntington, Curtis (Earlynn) Worster of Markle and Larry (Pamela) Worster of Huntington; Two daughters: Vicki (John) King of Billings Missouri and Patty (Larry) Burnworth of Huntington. A Sister-in-law Mary Miller of Huntington and a Brother-in-law Roger Worster of Florida, 12 Grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Max Worster, a grandson Kevin Worster; four brothers: Leonard Smith, Glen Smith, Vaughn Smith and Jay Smith; two sisters: Helen Fusselman and Delight Wiley.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home, Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee St., Markle, IN.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Gerald O. Moreland officiating.

Interment will be at the Markle Cemetery.
