Howard was born on February 11, 1925 and passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.

Howard was a resident of Kentucky at the time of passing.

After returning home in 1946 he attended Concord College in Athens, WV, then enrolled in the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado where he received a BS in Pharmacy.

During WWII Doug served as a pharmacy technician with the US Army 67 Field Hospital Unit in France, Belgium, and Germany.

As Dr. Kennedy had requested, a graveside service was held with his Pastor and the immediate family followed by burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.
