Howard was born on January 30, 1925 and passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017.

Howard was a resident of Topeka, Kansas at the time of passing.

He served in the United States Navy during World War II as a 20mm gunner aboard a merchant marine ship.

To celebrate Howard's life there will be a visitation on Saturday, May 20th from 5 to 6:30 p.m. followed by a brief service and presentation of the colors by the Topeka Police Department Honor Guard, at Topeka Bible Church (Mulvane Building), 1101 SW Mulvane Street, Topeka, KS 66604.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, KS 66604.
