Hubbard Lee Parsons was born in Rosston, Arkansas to the Union of Timothy Parsons and Lois (Hubbard) Parsons. Hubbard and Roberta were married April 21, 1956. From this union was born two children, Paul and Anita Parsons.
Preceded in death by Roberta (Burdette) Parsons, wife of 54 years, mother Lois Hubbard; father Timothy Parsons; brother Hersey Parsons; grandson Kyle Williams. Survived by wife Evelyn Parsons; children Paul and Anita Parsons; brother Patrick McDaniels; sister Cynthia McDaniels, grandchildren Brent Parsons, Matthew Parsons, Alicia Parsons, Kelsey Parsons-Escobar, Andrew Parsons, Kenton McCowan, Cameron Williams; step-children Doris Sampson, Constance Johnson, Kenneth Horne (deceased), Tonneca Thomas, Yvonne Nickels, and Roger Hester Jr. Hubbard also had step-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Hubbard gave his life to Christ at 12 years old. He played football in high school and he loved working with his hands fixing things. He joined the Air Force after high school. He was a jet engine technician with 23 years of service. He retired at the rank of Master Sergeant with many awards and achievements. He worked at the Omaha Housing Authority and Laidlaw bus company for 22 years as a lead trainer. Hubbard was a dedicated member and trustee of St. Mark Baptist Church for over 40 years. He was a compassionate and admirable man. He was loved by many as well as a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved his family. He had a great smile. He was always available to support and help others. He will be missed by many. Hubbard will always be in our hearts and prayers.
