Jack Sizemore, 78, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 7:45 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2009 at Skilled Care Center in Wabash. He was born February 15, 1931 in Harlan County, Kentucky to Lee and Evelyn (Wagner) Sizemore.

He married Ruth O. (Bulington) Vermilion in Tazwell, Tennessee on July 27, 1981. Jack had been disabled since 1982. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea, and was a member of the Wabash Chapter of the Izaak Walton League.

He is survived by wife, Ruth O. Sizemore of Wabash, three sons, Bill (Cindy) Sizemore, of Oregon, Jack (Betty Lou) Sizemore, of Idaho, and Terry Sizemore, of Oregon, and 1 daughter, Debi (Doug) Anderson, of Washington; two step daughters, Monica (Benny) Ward, and Aundra Stambaugh both of Wabash; two sisters, June (Don) Tweed of Apopka, Florida, and Evelyn (Jack) Siler, of Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and 18 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one step son, two step daughters, two step great grandchildren, four brothers, and three sisters.

Mr. Sizemore will be cremated and there will be no services or visitation.

Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.

Preferred memorial is the family of Jack Sizemore.
