Jacquelyn "Jackie" Duty, of Georgetown, Texas formerly of Killeen, Texas passed away on her 88th birthday, September 29, 2015.

Jackie was born to Harvey Willard Wurzburger and Susan Jane (Hinshaw) Wurzburger on September 29, 1927 in Bloomington, Illinois. On November 3, 1947 she married her one true love, William Harold Duty in Springfield, Illinois. The two shared a lifetime of memories together raising their family and serving the Lord. On April 7th of 2000, Harold was called home, yet Jackie's joy and love continued to shine and positively influence her friends and family. Jackie served the community in which she lived as a Civic Service Representative on Fort Hood, Texas for over 30 years.

To cherish her memory, Jackie leaves behind her son, Gary Duty and wife Barbara of Austin, Texas; son, Michael Duty and wife Maryann of Killeen, Texas; daughter, Tonya Johnson and husband Michael of Hot Springs, Arkansas; son, Dorion Duty and wife Stacy of Georgetown, Texas; grandchildren: Cari Dell Brown, Rocky Johnson, Dominique Duty, Chantel Bellevou, Renee Gwaltney, Canyon Reid, Karissa Mendoza, Brandon Albert and Jake Melcher; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Kenneth Wurzburger and wife Natalie and Nils Wurzburger and wife Joan; sisters: Karen Ann Elfreich and husband Don, Carla Haning and husband Keith, and Norita Podbelsek; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Duty; sisters: Dolores Crutcher and Priscilla Wurzburger; and her brother, Bob Wurzburger.

Memorial donation may be made to your local Humane Society or to the local Salvation Army in memory of Jackie.

Honored to serve as pallbearers includes: Rocky Johnson, Darrell Langford, Jaxson Langford, Rodney Sawyer, Garrett Harman, and Brandon Albert.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Drive Georgetown, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3rd at Live Oak Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.
