Dr. Walker was born on November 20, 1931 and passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018.

Dr. Walker was a resident of Alabama at the time of passing.

He received a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Auburn University in March of 1953 and later graduated from Medical College of Alabama (University of Alabama) in 1959.

He served as a First Lieutenant in the United States Air Force from 1953 until 1961 and was Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Reserves from 1982 until 1985.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Wilson Funeral Home with Dr. Kevin McCreless officiating and eulogy given by Fred Johnson. Burial will follow in Rainsville Memorial Gardens.

The family is accepting flowers or memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
