James was born on March 10, 1934 and passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016.

James was a resident of Sherwood, Michigan at the time of passing.

He served as a tank driver in the U.S. Army.

James was married to Mary.

A celebration of Jamesā life will be held at 11 AM on Monday November 28 2016 at Lighthouse Funeral and Cremation just west of Arbogast Road on M-60. Pastor Marty Burdick of the Union City Wesleyan Church will officiate. Military interment will be at 1:30 PM Monday November 28 2016 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Sunday November 27 2016 also at the Lighthouse.

Memorials are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans Department of Michigan 17779 E. 14-Mile Rd. Fraser MI 48026.
