James passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017.

James was a resident of Saint Paul, Indiana at the time of passing.

He attended the College of St. Thomas and the University of MN in pre-medicine before he was called into the Army, first commissioned with General Patton's 2 Armored Division, then commissioned to a transfer in the Army Air Corp for pilot training and served as Captain in the Army Air Corp flying B-17 planes.

Jim graduated from St. Thomas Academy in 1938 with a 2 nd Lieutenant Commission in the Army.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, September 22, 2017 at LUMEN CHRISTI CATHOLIC CHURCH (2055 Bohland Ave., St. Paul) with visitation starting at 9:30 AM at the church. Private inurnment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to donor's choice.
