James Emmett Roles, 83, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Fayette Nursing and Rehab.
Born on June 7, 1932 at Fayetteville, he was the son of the late James Samuel Roles and Myrtle Mason Roles Simmons.
Mr. Roles attended Salem Road Free Baptist Church. He was a disabled truck driver and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Vivian Steele; and grandson, Kenny McKee.
Left to cherish many wonderful memories are his wife, Nancy Ruth Roles; five children: Carlos Roles, Teresa (Curtis) Massie, Sonya (Craig) Wood, John (Beverly) Roles, and Michael (Alicia) Roles; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
