James was born on February 10, 1933 and passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017.

James was a resident of Charleston, South Carolina at the time of passing.

He graduated from Ridgeland High School and attended Clemson University where he was a star member of the track team.

Funeral services will be Saturday September 16th at Ridgeland Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Floyd Cemetery.
