James Coleman Fitzgerald went to be with the Lord on Friday March 10, 2017 in Clarksville, Texas. He was born to Clarence Fitzgerald and Patsy Treadway Fitzgerald on September 28, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Mr. Fitzgerald is survived by two daughters, Leslie Denice and Jimmy Johnson of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Jamie Dionne and Adam Locke Sadberry of Elk City, Oklahoma.

Grandchildren are Amy and Chad Micheal Fitzgerald of De Leon, Texas, Krystalyn Rashell and Dustin James Williams of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Stephanie and Shawn Andrew Williams, of Olathe, Kansas. Zachary Ryan and Mikayla Sadberry of Lubbock, Texas and Tye Christian Sadberry of Lubbock, Texas.

Great Grand Children are Chad Robert Fitzgerald, Hannah Marie Fitzgerald, Madisyn Nikkole Jade Williams, Killian Keiran Liam Williams, and Andrew Nathan Williams. Nephews: Darrell and wife Roberta Suhr of Millerton, Oklahoma, Mark Suhr and family and Rodney Suhr and family.

James was a Navy veteran and served his country from 1952-1957. He loved music and it was a big part of his life. He played with Don Williams and Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. He spent a lot of time in Nashville, Tennessee doing what he loved. Music was his passion and he was an excellent guitar player. When he was a young boy, he loved listening to the radio. He loved to travel on his tours. Once he quit a machine shop job for fear of hurting his guitar hand. He liked to watch the Saturday night country music shows. He loved trading old cars and had a junker almost every week. His last car was a Ford Thunderbird. Just recently he was listening to backup guitar and said proudly, "I could do that". Before that he worked at a cement company for ten years and also worked at Fender Guitars.

Preceding him in death is a wife, Mary Martin Fitzgerald, a daughter, Mary Shaune
Fitzgerald, a grandchild Tyler James Fitzgerald, brother, Clarence L. Fitzgerald, and the mother of his three daughters, Martha Alice Little Fitzgerald.
