GEORGE, James H., 95, of Safety Harbor, passed away on October 7, 2017. He was born on July 8, 1922 in West New York, NJ, son of the late James A. and Lucy (Petti) George.



Jim was a Army veteran who served in WWII and the Battle of the Bulge. He was a graphic artist and musician. Jim created some of the graphic artwork for Disney and was once know as “Diamond Jim” and later, “the Music Man”; he enjoyed playing the keyboard.



Jim is survived by his loving wife, Wally George; five step children; five grandchildren; and a host of other family members who will miss him.



Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 13 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Sylvan Abbey United Methodist Church, 2817 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, FL.



He will be laid to rest with military honors in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer Research Foundation by visiting www.alzinfo.org.
