James Martin Bell, 50, of Casselberry, FL passed away suddenly on May 23, 2017. He was a beloved son, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. James was born in Hollywood, FL on February 7, 1967. He was a graduate of Chaminade High School. James went on to earn two Masters Degrees, one from Florida International University and one from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, in the area of information technology. He was a gifted IT Analyst for Booz Allen Hamilton for many years, a job which allowed him to travel frequently. James was a travel enthusiast. He went on his first cruise around the age of 5 and enjoyed many trips throughout his lifetime to places such as Alaska, Rome, Russia and the Canary Islands to name a few.



In addition to traveling, James was a collector. He was passionate about strategy and role playing games, such as Dungeons and Dragons, personally owning an extensive collection of games. He enjoyed attending player conventions , GenCon, ShmooCon, DEFCON, Black Hat, and DragonCon events to name a few.



He loved his extensive collection of Lego models, many from the Star Trek/Wars genre. He was deeply loved by his close family and friends, and will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.



James was preceded in passing by his loving grandparents, James S. and Sophia P. Bell.



He is survived by his mother, Patricia Bell of Dunnellon, FL; brother, Michael Bell Loffredo of Woodinville, WA; aunt, Sandra Naylon and her husband Tim of Casselberry, FL; longtime friend and love, Tammy Kastner of MD; nieces and nephews Bailey Bell-Loffredo of Los Angeles, CA, Alexandria Bell-Loffredo of Woodinville, WA, and Mateo Loffredo of Woodinville, WA; cousins: Kelly Mawhinney of Casselberry, FL, Chris Naylon and his wife Kim of Northport, FL, Katie Naylon of Los Angeles, CA, and Lori Sullivan and her husband Sean of Coral Springs, FL; as well as countless other family members and friends.



A celebration of James’s life will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte, 994 E Altamonte Dr., Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. Gathering will begin at 6:00 pm with Memorial Service to start at 7:00 pm.
