James "Jim" McDowell Hildum was born June, 10, 1920 and passed away July 9, 2017. He was a decorated World War II Veteran. After serving 22 years in the United States Air Force Mr. Hildum retired once again from McDonnell-Douglas and Boeing.
Jim was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America. He had a servant's heart and gave freely of his time as an advocate for the homeless and others in need. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and he even volunteered as an umpire with the inner city St. Louis leagues.
Mr. Hildum was preceded in death by his parents, Khlar and De Emma Hildum; brother, Khlar Hildum, Jr; and sons, Jerry Hildum and Steve Entrekin.
He is survived by his children, Andrew (Jinger) Entrekin of Rainbow City, Patricia (Rick) Davidson of Flint, MI, David (Patty) Entrekin of Traverse City, MI, Kevin (Kelly) Entrekin of Clarkston, MI, Wendy (Roger) Christiansen of Rogers, AR; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hildum will be interred at Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
