Mr. James Millford Scarberry, 51, of Valdese passed away unexpectedly Wednesday January 10, 2018 at his residence.
James was born July 28, 1966 in Huntington, WV to Rose Ann Clark and the late Lloyd Milford Scarberry. He worked at Ingles Supermarket as a stocker and cashier.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clay Clark and Elsie Berry Clark Easter; paternal grandparents, Elva Scarberry and Wilda Scarberry; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his mother, Rose Clark of Valdese; and brother Dwayne Scarberry of Valdese.
A funeral service will be held 11AM Monday January 15, 2018 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with the Rev. Marvin Wiley officiating.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Valdese.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10AM to 11AM at Heritage Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association at P.O. Box 15829
Arlington, VA 22215.
