Rev. Rich was born on April 13, 1932 and passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017.

Rev. Rich was a resident of South Carolina at the time of passing.

He attended Green Elementary School and graduated from Lincoln High School, Sumter, SC, decades before South Carolina's School Equalization Program, created to build decent schools for Black students to prevent integration.
