James Paul Krontz, Sr. age 71 of Bronson, Michigan passed away early Saturday morning, May 13, 2017 at the Community Health Center of Branch County in Coldwater, Michigan.
He was born April 13, 1946 in Butler, Indiana son of the late Walter and Pauline Krontz.
James resided in Bronson for the past three years coming from Orland, Indiana.
He was a welder by trade and a fan of NASCAR. He enjoyed time in the outdoors; some of his favorite activities included fishing, gardening, camping and hunting.
He is survived by three daughters: Cynthia (Charles "Peppy") Huber of Sturgis, Janet Miller of Three Rivers and Patricia Krontz of Sturgis; five sons: James Krontz, Jr. of Bronson, Jay Krontz of Three Rivers, James Isfalt of Sturgis, Scott Krontz and Wade Krontz both of Edmonton, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date.
The Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, MI 49091, 269-651-2331 is entrusted with the arrangements.
