James was born on March 12, 1941 and passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016.

James was a resident of South Bend, Indiana at the time of passing.

Jim was in the first graduating class at the new St. Bavo Catholic School in 1954-55; he graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School in 1959 and from the University of Notre Dame in 1963.

There will be no formal visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday October 14 at 1 p.m. in St. Bavo Catholic Church Mishawaka with Monsignor William Schooler officiating.
