James was born on November 19, 1949 and passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019.

James was a resident of Ohio at the time of passing.

Jim "Scotty" was a 1968 graduate of Brunswick High School where he played football. He loved bowling with the Ford Night Owls at Freeway Lanes and his Thursday Pinochle Group of Berea.

U. S. Navy Veteran.

Closing prayers Sunday November 3, 2019 at the funeral home 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends SUNDAY 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
