James was born on February 2, 1934 and passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018.

James was a resident of Bluffton, South Carolina at the time of passing.

He later returned to South Carolina, where he graduated with distinction from Newberry College, lettered in track, and served as editor of the school annual.

Jim enlisted in the Navy shortly after graduation.

The family will host a memorial service at the church at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17th.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to your favorite charity in honor of Jim.
