The Obituary JANE GORE was born on January 6, 1926 to the late Williams and Ester Revelle in Ahoskie, North Carolina. After 10 years in North Carolina, the family moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jane received her education in the Philadelphia school system, including Fitzsimmons Jr. High and Germantown High School. Jane married James Gore on February 4, 1945. From this union was born two daughters, Joyce and Juanita and one son, James, Jr. Jane loved to work with her hands and worked for the Ladies Garment Workers Union for many years. She soon decided to become a homemaker and housewife. She loved to cook, especially fried chicken, chitterlings, pigs feet, potato salad and greens. She also loved to bar-b-que ribs on the grill. Corn pudding was one of her specialties and let's not forget the banana pudding and sweet potato pie! She also enjoyed seafood, especially crabs. She was a wonderful mother and will be missed forever. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Tiemoujen and her husband, James. She leaves to mourn her passing, daughters, Joyce and Juanita; son, James, Jr.; granddaughter, Amina and son-in-law, Lenny Bryant; and other relatives and friends.
