Janice Wattik, 69, of Hot Springs Village , Arkansas passed away Sunday, August 02, 2009 at her home.
She was born September 10, 1939 in Ambridge , Pennsylvania to Vincent Matzie and Mabel Brown Matzie. She was retired and formerly worked as an administrative secretary for a shipping company. Jan was a lifetime lover of dogs and spent several hours of volunteer work at the Hot Springs Village Animal Shelter.
She is survived by:

Joe Wattik of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas
2 Sons:
Michael Wattik, his wife Sarah Providence,Rhode Island
Joseph Wattik, Los Angeles, California
3 Daughters:
Sandra Broadway,her husband David, Fulshear, Texas Susan Wattik of Austin, Texas
Laura Hallam, her husband Bill, League City,Texas
1 Sister:

Sue King, her husband Richard, Los Angeles , California
4 Grandchildren:
Zachary Broadway
Madison Wattik

Nicholas Wattik
Samantha Hallam

Her faithful companion to the end Phoebe.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at CedarVale Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bernie Bauer officiating.

The family respectfully request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League, 195 Cloaca Lane , Hot Springs Village , Arkansas 71909 , in memory of Jan.


Arrangements are under the direction of CedarVale Funeral Home, Hot Springs Village , Arkansas .
