Janis D Railey, 74, of Little Rock passed away on November 11, 2016. She was a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Just like her interests, the story of her life read like a book, full of intrigue, suspense, romance, laughter, and love. She relished escaping through any literature she could turn the pages of. She also enjoyed the outdoors, especially nurturing her flower garden and bird-watching. She had a heart for all creatures great and small, always caring for a furry companion or two. Most recently, she rescued her four-legged friend Lily.

She will be remembered fondly for her famous fried chicken and drop chocolate and oatmeal cookies, and walks down to the park to take her kids fishing.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Kenneth Railey and daughter Dedra Lee Thomas. Left to cherish her memory are her children Kimberlee Jamerson of Little Rock and Billy Railey of Hot Springs; and grandchildren Tucker and Lacey Jamerson, Andrew and Allison Railey, and Kelsey Caldwell.

As a page is turned and this chapter comes to a bittersweet end, you are invited to share in the story of her life with a memorial celebration service to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, 10200 Hwy 5 N., Alexander Arkansas.
