Jarrod Lynn Johnson was born January 25, 1972 in De Queen, AR to Donna Lynn (Johnson) Pope. Jarrod was both a taxidermist for eighteen years as well as a semi pro archer, winning numerous awards in the states of Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas.
He graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1990 and attended Southeastern Oklahoma University majoring in Sociology. Jarrod attended Promiseland Church in Sherman, Texas and loved hunting, fishing, music, and spending time with those he loved greatly. He will be missed.

Jarrod Johnson, Loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents J.E. and Mattie Johnson; god parents Glen and Josephine Frazier and grandparents Stanley and Ruth Pope.

Jarrod is survived by his wife Connie Lenell Johnson of Colbert, OK; Parents, Ronnie and Donna Pope of Boswell, OK; Brother, Marty and wife Stacey Pope of Bennington, OK; Sister, Leandra and husband Landon Jestis of Bokchito, OK; Sister, Robin Ammons of Idabel, OK and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
