Jeanette G. Ridenour, 71 of London began her rest in the arms of Jesus, March 31, 2015 at 5:38 PM at Arbors at London, after a valiant struggle with Alzheimers. Born in Athens, Alabama June 29, 1943 to Richard Alvin and Nettie Francis (Hogan) Garris. She was a graduate of Roswell High School in Roswell, Georgia and spent much of her life involved in banking. She worked for City Loan Co.; Huntington Bank, Citizen's Bank and Advantage Bank, all in London, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of London for nearly 50 years. Preceded in death by parents, sisters Rebecca Graham and Anna Gayle Ison, brother David Henry Garris and brother in law Lawrence Johnson. Survived by loving husband of 52 years David; son Phillip of London; daughters Melissa (John Castle) of London, Sarah (Josh Rose) of Westerville; sister Mrs. Betty Johnson of Port St. Lucie, FL; brothers Gilbert (Patty) Garris of Belfry, KY and Henry (Carolyn) Garris of Ormond Beach, FL. Sisters in law Diane Schorr of Reynoldsburg, Linda Ridenour of Dublin, CA, brother in law Bill Ison of London and nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday (4/3) from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME. Service Saturday at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Gordon Johnson officiating. Jeanette will lie in state 1 hour prior to service. Burial in Kirkwood Cemetery. Condolences to www.rldfuneralhome.com.
