Jeannine Kay (Jewett) Jasper, 86, was born August 6, 1929 and passed away November 20, 2015 at Innisfree Nursing in Rogers, AR. She was raised in Audubon and Carroll, IA and studied fine art at Drake University. Jeannine met Robert Warren Jasper, the love of her life, when both were students at Iowa State College. They married June 16, 1951 and had three children. Jeannine and Robert relocated often while Robert was in the Army Signal Corps, throughout his career in the oil and natural gas industry, and chose Northwest Arkansas for their retirement. Wherever they lived, Jeannine made a beautiful home for her family and volunteered within their communities. She had a love of books, enjoyed golf and water aerobics, and travel.

Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Larry Jewett; son, Steven Jasper; and daughter, Susan Nelson. She is survived by her husband, Robert of Bentonville; daughter, Kate Salem (Tom) of Bentonville; one brother Michael Jewett (Laura) of Battle Creek, MI; one sister, Susan Jewett of Ames, IA; nieces and nephews; son-in-law, Michael Nelson (Roanoke, TX); three grandchildren, Adam Nelson (Carly) of Chicago, IL; Libby Rickley (Justin) of Ocean Springs, MS; Blake Salem of Lincoln, NE; and three great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Jeannine's life at Legacy Village Clubhouse, 601 NE Greenwood Way, Bentonville, AR 72712, Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.
