Jenifer Kelly Custer "Jenny", 35, peacefully passed away September 25th, 2016 in her Meridian, Idaho home surrounded by family and friends.
Jenny was born October 3rd, 1980 in Grand Junction, Colorado to John Watson and Karie Denney.
She grew up in Moab, Utah and then Elko, Nevada with her siblings Vanessa, Angie, and Denney Watson.
On August 4th, 2001 she married the love of her life, Daniel Joseph Custer, in Elko, Nevada. They had two wonderful children; Colby and Amelia Custer. Soon after the children were born, they moved to Meridian, Idaho, where they met an amazing community of friends.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents Ken and Helen McDougal, her aunt Barbara Denney, and her grandma Gloria Denney.
Jenny touched the lives of everyone she met with her sweet heart and infectious smile. She selflessly volunteered so much of her time to coach cheerleading, first at Elko Junior High School and then later coaching her daughter and others as they cheered for her son's Optimist football team. She also volunteered at her church as a youth leader and was very involved in charity efforts and organizations such as MOPS. She loved kids and worked for the Elko County School District until having her own children. At that time, she became a stay at home mom. She loved spending as much quality time as she could with her kids, and became sad anytime they had to go back to school. Her love for her entire family was evident in everything that she did. She loved everyone deeply, from her immediate family, extending to cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and all of her in-laws. She was also a very devoted friend and someone people knew they could talk to about anything, and they could expect honesty, compassion, and a lack of judgment. In September of 2014, Jenny was stricken with an autoimmune disorder and fought bravely for over two years while being vent dependent and unable to move her arms or neck, all while fighting extreme nausea and headaches. She was truly one of a kind and this world will never be the same without her, but all of her friends and family are happy that she no longer has to suffer, but is rejoicing now in heaven.
