Jim Ned Langley, age 58, of Ellettsville died Friday morning at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospice House. Born March 19, 1958 in Bloomington, he was the son of Ned and Emma Rachel (Altop) Langley. He worked for the City of Bloomington as a master operator. He was a former Associate Pastor for the McCormick's Creek Pentecostal Church. He is a current member of the Highland Village Church and the United Pentecostal Church International Ministerial Association. Jim loved to be outdoors deer hunting and cutting wood.

Jim is survived by his wife, Aleatha (Flynn) Langley, of Ellettsville; two sons, James Langley, of Ellettsville and Stephen Spell, of Bloomington; two sisters, Betty (Sam) Arnold and Judy Miller, both of Spencer; five grandchildren, Austin Langley, Corbin Langley, Kirsten Langley, Alex Martin and Ellie Martin and one sister-in-law, Linda Langley, of Solsberry.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ned Langley, his mother, Emma Rachel ( Altop) Langley Mitchner, two sisters, Mary ann and Margie Lou Langley and one brother, Bobby Langley.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Highland Village Church; 515 S. Curry Pike with Pastor B. Andrew King and Dr. Layton Wall officiating. Entombment will be at a later date in the Chambersville Cemetery Meadow View Mausoleum. Friends may visit the family at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home;4150 E. Third St. on Monday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and at the church from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

Memorial contributions may be given to I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospice or to the Highland Village Church.
