Jim Osborne, 73, of Santa Claus, IN is now singing with the angels and was reunited with passed loved ones on March 29, 2015. He was born September 20, 1941 in Boonville, Indiana to the late Clophia Agnes Bass and William Denby Osborne. He retired as an auto body repairman and was a member of Heritage Hills Baptist Church. He was always on the go, enjoyed life and always looked to the future. He was such a caring, sweet and gentle soul. He had such a big heart and was a man who loved and cherished his family. He enjoyed traveling, nature and had a green thumb. Jim was an organ donor, helping to give life to others. He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter, Jeff and Jamie Osborne, a grandson, Jack Grelecki; a brother, Don Osborne; and a sister, Ruth Lamping. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rachel Osborne; his children, Julie Christensen (Kevin) of Wichita, KS, Jim Osborne (Freda) of Derby, KS, Tom Osborne (Jaime) of Evansville, IN, Sarah Grelecki (Dan) of Carmel, IN and James Osborne at home; nine grandchildren: Ryan, Travis, Tanner, Tyler, Hannah, Caylee, Parker, Lily and Stella; an aunt, Lucille Brooks; and cousins, Marvin and Lonnie Bass. Services will be held at a later date. James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro, KY is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Heritage Hills Baptist Church, 1415 W Christmas Blvd, Santa Claus, IN 47579.
