Jimmy Mailhotte, 61 of Hope St. Burlington passed away on Friday May 12, 2017 after a short illness. Jimmy was born on July 21, 1955 in Burlington, VT, son of George and May Mailhotte. Jimmy was a graduate of Burlington High School. Jimmy married Judy (Mazza) at St. Joseph Church in Burlington, VT. He worked at IBM. Jimmy's hobby is the love of hunting and his proud moment was getting his trophy dear this past fall. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Judy, his daughter Christina and her husband Brock Billings and special grandson Ty Lewis Billings, his son Brian and his girlfriend Kealey Buteau. Jimmy was also survived by his sisters: Nancy (Larry) LaBrake, Mary Dike and Patricia DePaul, His brothers: John (Susan) Mailhotte and Sister in laws: Trudy (John) Collar and Elizabeth Mazza, Brother in law: Thomas (Janet). He was also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Jimmy was pre-deceased by his parents George and May, his brother George Mailhotte, Mother in law: Barbara Wilson, Brother in law: Anthony Mazza, and nephew Marcus Medlar. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday May 17, 2017 at 1:00PM at the Ready Funeral Home and Cremation Services South Chapel. 261 Shelburne Rd. Burlington, VT. There will be no calling hours and burial will be at a later date. There will also be a celebration of life at a later date.
