Joan was born on February 21, 1933 and passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018.

Joan was a resident of Atchison, Kansas at the time of passing.

She attended Effingham Elementary School and graduated from Atchison High School.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at St. Louis Church at Good Intent with Rev. Benjamin Tremmel, OSB as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be at 10:00 A.M. with recitation of the rosary at 10:45 A. M. at St. Louis Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Cindy Kistler and a sister, Naomi Jones.
