Joan Elaine (Snyder) Schnatterer entered into rest March 22, 2017 and she was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 25, 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Joseph, who passed away on November 9, 2009, her parents Andrew and Dorothy Snyder; as well as her brother, Robert Snyder. She had a brief career in Philadelphia as secretary to Ed McMann and when she moved to Florida over 30 years ago, she worked as a medical records secretary and a receptionist for the Kapok Tree Inn. She also enjoyed her time as a docent for the, then, Safety Harbor Museum and her involvement with the Safety Harbor Women's Club and the friends she made there. In her lifetime, Joan traveled with her husband, Joe, all over the world from Puerto Rico to Paris, Ireland to Alaska. Traveling was one of their great passions. Joan worked in many capacities over her lifetime. But Joan' s greatest joy was being a mom, mom mom and Gmom.
