Joan was born on January 3, 1945 and passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

Joan was a resident of New Jersey at the time of passing.

A former resident of Haddon Heights, Joan received her bachelor's degree in early education and became a school teacher.

She is lovingly survived by her three children, Jennifer Hillier, Duane Hillier (Nicole) and Aimee Hillier-Piemonte (Stephen); her beloved grandchildren, Laurina, Christian, Gabriella, Samarah, Katrina and Finnegan; her great-grandson, Zackary; her sister, Verna MacCarthy; her brother, John W. Longworth; several nieces and nephews and her devoted companion, Frank Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation, Friday April 20th from 9:30 - 11:30 AM at the HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ where Her Memorial Service will be conducted by Pastor Stephen Eckardt beginning at 11:30 AM. Inurnment with her parents will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Johns Hopkins Vasculitis Center www.hopkinsvasculitis.org.
