Joan Taylor Sieb, 88, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on March 30, 2017. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 12, 1928. Joan graduated from the University of Texas-Dallas with a degree in Psychology. She was married to Edward Harold Sieb on December 17, 1950 in Davenport Iowa. Joan had a career at the Daily Democrat where she was a Cub Reporter and Assistant Society Editor in Davenport, Iowa as well as a columnist for the Rock Island Argus. She was a member P.E.O. Chapter D, chapter president in Atlanta, Georgia, a Deacon at Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as a Sunday school teacher. She loved reading, writing, sewing, arts & crafts, movies/theater, museums, golf, watching TCU sports, playing with her grand puppy, and enjoying her favorite treat-coffee ice cream. She is survived by her daughter, Ellyn Joan Sieb of Phoenix, Arizona; son, Eric Walter Sieb of Phoenix, Arizona and daughter-in-law, Claudia M. Sieb. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Edward H. Sieb; sister, June Taylor Burton; and brother Henry Taylor.
