Joann was born on September 7, 1923 and passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016.

Joann was a resident of Flint, Michigan at the time of her passing.

She served her country in the U.S. Marines during World War II.

She was married to Bernard.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday October 19 2016 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 1227 East Bristol Road Burton Father Steve Anderson officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery with a military graveside service. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Those desiring may make contributions to St. Michael Catholic Church.
