Joel D. Parse, 84, of Loveland died on August 10, 2010 at his home. He was born on May 17, 1926 in Waupaca, WI. He served in the army during WWII at Buckley Field from 1944-1946. On December 14, 1946, he married the love of his life, Lois Rosenkrans, in Denver. He lived in Denver and moved to Loveland in 1984 after retiring from Qwest Communications, where he worked for over 35 years. Joel was an avid hunter and loved fishing. He invented many fishing items. He loved camping and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife, Lois L. Parse, of Loveland; a son, Kirby Kent Parse of Hawaii; a daughter, Linda Loree and husband, Dick, Wiglesworth of Loveland; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A Double Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Double inurnment Resthaven Memory Gardens.
