John C. Roberts, “Jack”, died peacefully February 9, 2018 in Danvers, MA. Born in Norwood, December 3, 1944, Jack spent his youth in Westwood and Hingham. He graduated from Hingham High School in 1962, then attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida earning a B.A. in Psychology. He worked in Social Services and the Hospitality Industry, but his true love was being on the water. In his youth he was an active member of the Crow Point Sailing Club, in college he was a coxswain for the Rollins Crew team, and as an adult he earned his Captain’s license and spent several years working in Florida as Yacht Captain. He is survived by his former wife, Carole J. Anthos O’Malley of Salisbury Beach; his daughter, Kimberly Knight of Salisbury Beach; his daughter, Amanda Keaveney of Upton; his brother, Donald of Amesbury; his sister, Ellen Brewster of Carver; two grandsons, E. Thomas Graham and Kyle J. Keaveney; and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be private.
