John was born on January 16, 1944 and passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018.

John was a resident of Gloucester, Virginia at the time of passing.

As a youth, John attended Our Lady Queen of Peace from kindergarten through 12th grade and was active in baseball, basketball and football, later becoming a High School official in those same sports he loved.

A Mass and celebration of life will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018, 11:00 am Church of St. Therese 6262 Main St, Gloucester, VA 23061 Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Thursday, April 12, 2018 11:00 AM St. Therese Catholic Church 6262 Main St. Gloucester, Virginia 23061.

In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to the organizations John was an active volunteer in; The Mathews County Lions Club and Bread for Life Food Pantry at St. Therese.
