John was born on March 30, 1950 and passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.

John was a resident of Kentucky at the time of passing.

He was a DeSales High School Alumni, retired from Marley Cooling Tower, served in the Army, devoted his time to advocate for Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action; and an adjutant with the American Legion post 229.

His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Kenwood Heights Christian Church, 5610 New Cut Rd., with a full Military Honor Committal Service at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central.
