John was born on June 20, 1929 and passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016.

John was a resident of Malden, Massachusetts at the time of his passing.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was married to Mary Jakul.

Relative & friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Friday from 4 - 8p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Saturday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 670 Washington St., Revere at 9 a.m.. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pope John XXIII High School, 888 Broadway, Everett, MA 02149.
