John was born on April 6, 1932 and passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

John was a resident of Ayer, Massachusetts at the time of his passing.

He was a graduate of Snyder High School in Snyder, TX and later attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

During the Korean Conflict Mr. Dickerson served his country in the United States Army from which he was honorably discharged.

Dickerson, 84, of Townsend, died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at his home. Mr. Dickerson was member and twice master of the C.W. Moore Masonic Lodge in Ayer, was a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason and was a member of the Aleppo Shriners. Arrangements Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main Street, (Rte 119) Townsend Center. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Townsend. Calling hours are 4-7 Monday.
