John L. Zirhut, a Bullrunian of 9 years passed away at the age of 64 years young.

He was born in Canton, Ohio and moved to Reseda, California at the age of 10. There, he met the love of his life, his wife Joan Getti, who was the innocent age of 5. They had a life-long friendship that came to include Lonnie Morgan; John's other love, 48 years later. John is not only survived by these two amazing women but also by his wonderful siblings; sister Kathleen Ramirez, brother Michael (Christine) Zirhut and Joseph (Leila) Zirhut. He also leaves many caring nieces, nephews and friends.

John opened his own tax practice, after retiring as a special agent from the Dept of the Treasury and IRS. He was honored to be an Enrolled Agent (an enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the IRS. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards). He was also proud to complete the requirements to become an NTPI Fellow (NTPI Fellows are the crme de la crme of representation experts and members of a learned society).

In his spare time, John enjoyed spending time with his family and pets, traveling, working with computers, especially computer animation, playing computer games with his longtime friend Alex and playing poker and other casino table games.

John was a humble man who loved his family, served and protected his country (often in an undercover fashion - surprise!), and was devoted to his pets. He will be greatly missed by all who loved or knew him.

A memorial mass will be held in January at St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church.

Arrangements under the direction of Dimond & Sons Silver Bell Chapel, Bullhead City, AZ.
