John was born on September 8, 1930 and passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016.

John was a resident of Greenville, Virginia at the time of passing.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served during the Korean War.

John was married to Sue.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday November 30 2016 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Tom Reynolds. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. Military honors will be conducted at the grave by the Staunton V.F.W. Post 2216. Friends are welcome to pay their respects at the funeral home during regular business hours; however the family will receive friends at their home from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday November 29 2016.
