John passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018.

John was a resident of South Carolina at the time of passing.

He attended Miller School of Albemarle, VA and graduated from the University of Virginia in 1941.

After attending the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD he joined the Navy in 1941 until the end of WWII in December of 1945.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 2pm at Fourth Presbyterian Church, 703 E. Washington St, Greenville, SC with visitation following at at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Thornwell Childrens Home.
