MOBLEY, John "Jack" age 86 of Hamilton, Ohio and Ft Myers, Florida passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at his home in Hamilton. He was born in Xenia, Ohio on January 23, 1931. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Hilda, on the same day three years earlier; Father, Earl; Mother, Edith; brothers, Lee and Richard; Sisters, Juanita and Phyllis; Sons, John and Brian. He is survived by his sisters, Vivian and Marianna; brother, Robert; children Doug (Yvonne), Larry (Cindy), Melissa (Kurt) and Deanna; along with 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one great and one great-great grandchild on the way.
Jack was a Korean War Veteran (US Navy) and proud teamster with 4 million miles of professional driving experience. He enjoyed time with his family, including youth activities at Greenmont Community Church, Assistant Boy Scout leader, along with coaching Wee Dragons football. He loved watching his kids play sports and greatly enjoyed their school activities. Jack and Hilda loved their RV, travelling with friends, exploring the US, and wintering in Florida. There will be a gathering of friends at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Dayton, OH 45429 Saturday May 27, 2017 from 2 pm until time of the memorial service at 4 pm.
