John Prodromas Bistis, 85, of Cary, NC formerly of New Jersey, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, May 26, 2017. He was married to the love of his life June Beverly Bistis for 63 years and always referred to her as the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

John was born on August 15, 1931 in East Orange, NJ. John was an owner of B & B Press in NJ for 50 years. He was an elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Stirling, NJ, a member of the National Guard, and past Master in the Masonic Lodge. John enjoyed spending time on Long Beach Island with his family, where he eventually retired. He was known for growing the best tomatoes in New Jersey and tending to his beautiful roses. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants. His grandchildren and great grandchildren brought him great joy. Golf was another story.

He is survived by his beloved wife Beverly; children, Cindi and husband, John Ebert, of Pittsboro, NC, Candi and husband, Tom McKay, of Cary, NC, John and wife, Cindy, of Isle of Palms, SC, and Kim, and fiancé Jerald Davis, of Quincy, MA; grandchildren Tommy, Jaclynn, Kendall, Stefanie, and Julia and great grandchildren Layla, Chase and Levi.
