John was born on August 2, 1934 and passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017.

John was a resident of Toledo, Ohio at the time of his passing.

John graduated from Waite High School, and is a member of the school's Athletic Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in football, basketball, baseball, and golf.
